My necklaces have silverplate chains and bezels, or black powder coated findings. Some necklaces have a buna cord, which is soft rubber and is comfortable to wear. Silverplate will naturally tarnish after a period of time and may be cleaned with a jewelry cloth. Polymer surfaces may be cleaned with a damp cloth. All earring hooks and posts are sterling silver and may be safely worn by those with a nickel allergy. Some necklaces have integrated magnetic closures which should not be worn by customers with a pacemaker. Most pieces are one-of-a-kind, however, some pieces may be duplicated due to the nature of caning. All pieces are made by hand, slight variations should be expected.

On the “Special Items” page you will find wooden bowls with polymer clay inlays. Bowls are finished with a safe, natural finish of beeswax and mineral oil. The bowls have not been tested for food safety. These bowls are turned by my husband, Randy Heinemann, a family collaboration!
